Olivier –
Fraying edges used to be our biggest headache in gift box production – until we switched to this ribbon three months ago. Our Montreal-based packaging studio goes through roughly 800 yards per month, wrapping luxury candle boxes and cosmetic sets. The 5/8″ width is ideal: wide enough to make a statement bow, yet narrow enough to sit flush on small box lids.
What really sold us was the cut consistency. We run it through an automated cutter at high speed, and every single roll has delivered clean, thread‑free ends – zero downtime for re‑trimming. We also tested five colours (burgundy, navy, sage, gold, and black) under our warehouse fluorescent lights for two weeks; no fading or discolouration. Even through Montreal’s dry winter heating, the ribbon didn’t curl or become brittle – it stayed soft and pliable.
Shipping from SeekRibbon to Quebec has been reliable: three bulk orders so far, each arriving within 11‑13 business days. Customs paperwork was complete and accurate every time, so no brokerage delays. The rolls are individually wrapped and stacked in sturdy cartons – no crushed spools.
For a production‑scale operation that values both speed and presentation, this ribbon has genuinely improved our workflow. We’ve already reordered twice and are expanding to four more colours for the holiday rush. Solid choice for any Canadian packager.
